Welcome to The Wealth Building Academy! We’re so glad you’re here. By using our website or purchasing any of our products or services — including event tickets, digital products, and online courses — you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

These terms apply to The Wealth Building Academy, Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”), an Alberta corporation, and to you (“you” or “your”) as a visitor, customer, or student. We’ve kept this as clear and human as possible — because that’s how we operate.

1. What We Offer

Our site and platforms are used to provide:

Event tickets for in-person conferences and summits (e.g. The Wealthy(HER) Conference, Wealthy Women’s Summit)
Digital products, including the downloadable book The Pink Tax by Janine Rogan
Online courses and educational programs, including The Wealth Lab (hosted on Thinkific)
Free resources, blogs, newsletters, and community content

By purchasing or accessing any of these, you agree to the specific terms for each product type outlined below.

2. Event Tickets

When you purchase a ticket to one of our live events:

All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds unless the event is cancelled by us.
If we cancel an event, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to transfer your ticket to a future date.
Tickets are non-transferable unless we confirm otherwise in writing.
By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional use. If you have concerns, please reach out before the event.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove attendees whose behaviour is disruptive, harmful, or inconsistent with our community values.

3. Digital Products (The Pink Tax Book & Downloads)

For digital products purchased through our site:

All digital product sales are final and non-refundable once the download link has been accessed or delivered.
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-commercial license to use the content. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, or share the files publicly.
Digital files are for your personal use only. Please don’t post them online or share them with others — it directly impacts our ability to keep creating content for women.

4. Online Courses (The Wealth Lab)

Our courses, including The Wealth Lab, are hosted on Thinkific (a third-party platform). When you enroll:

You’ll receive lifetime access to the course content, including any future updates.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If within the first 14 days you’re not confident or motivated by the material, reach out to Janine directly at hello@janinerogan.com for a full refund. After 14 days, all course sales are final.
Your login is personal and non-transferable. Please don’t share your account credentials.
Community features (e.g. the Thinkific community, monthly Q&A sessions) are included as a bonus and may change over time. We’ll give you advance notice of any significant changes.
All live Q&A sessions are recorded and made available in your course portal.

Thinkific’s own terms also apply to your use of the course platform. We recommend reviewing them at thinkific.com/terms-of-service.

5. Educational Content — Not Financial Advice

Everything we share — in our courses, events, blog, book, and social media — is for educational purposes only. It is not personalized financial, legal, investment, or tax advice.

Janine Rogan holds a CPA designation and a fiduciary duty to the public, which means she does not sell investment products and cannot direct you to buy specific investments. Her role is to educate and empower you to make your own informed decisions.

We are not liable for any financial outcomes resulting from information or content shared through our site, events, or courses. Always consult a qualified professional for personalized advice.

6. Our Content & Intellectual Property

All content on this site and across our platforms — including course materials, workbooks, event assets, the WBA brand, and The Pink Tax book — is owned by The Wealth Building Academy, Inc. and protected by copyright.

Please don’t reproduce, copy, or commercially use our content without written permission. Sharing links to our site and content is always welcome!

7. Acceptable Use & Community Standards

We’re building a community of empowered women, and we take that seriously. By using our site or participating in our programs, you agree not to:

Harass, disrespect, or harm other community members or our team;
Post or share anything illegal, offensive, or misleading;
Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt our website or services;
Misrepresent yourself or use another person’s account.

We reserve the right to remove access for anyone who violates these standards, without notice or refund.

8. Third-Party Platforms & Links

We use third-party services to run parts of our business, including Thinkific (courses), Wix (website), and payment processors. We’re not responsible for the content, practices, or terms of those platforms. Please review their own policies before use.

Our site may also contain links to external websites. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Wealth Building Academy, Inc. and its team are not liable for any losses, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our site, products, courses, or attendance at our events. Your use of our services is at your own risk.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
